Although the teen is being celebrated for saving her dogs, she told KTLA that she doesn't want others to do what she did, because they might not have the same outcome.

The footage was shared on TikTok and Instagram by Hailey's cousin, Brenda (@bakedlikepie). The clip then shows the teenager springing into action, running toward the bear and pushing the animal off the wall, before grabbing another dog named Wednesday and retreating inside. Morinico says this is her mother's service dog, TJ.

The video was posted on Tuesday and since it has gathered 8.6 million views and liked 222.5K views. "A few dogs won't be able to take down an adult bear, especially one will cubs!" read another tweet. But as we've seen you simply can not underestimate a mama bear, even when that bear is a human.

Four dogs then run towards the bear and the bear reaches its paw down to them, seeming as though it's about to attack.

Another user pointed out that the bear was just trying to save its cubs.

Hailey comes flying over and pushes the bear from the fence and it falls off. "How's your Memorial Day?" she captioned the clip.

A person commented: "She did not just fight a whole bear bro".

The 17-year-old came dangerously close to the bear but decided not to be consumed by fear.

"She shoved that bear like it was a stuffed animal", someone said on TikTok.

'She sent the video on our family group chat and I just knew people would think it was insane so I posted it.

The video attracted thousands of comments, with some people praising the woman while others pointing out that the bear was just trying to defend its babies.

The bear was seen in the footage with her two babies walking on top of the barrier when one of Morinico's large dogs ran up barking at the bear. "And as her slave, I have to protect her".

"And when I get there, the bear is like literally picking up one of my dogs", Hailey continued.

"Honestly, the only thing I had in mind was to protect my dogs", said Ms Morinico.

She sprained her finger and scraped her knee, but was otherwise unharmed.
