It has already been announced that registration on CoWIN is mandatory before heading to the vaccination centre on May 1, 2021.

While those aged18to 44 years will be eligible to receive vaccination on payment from any of the private COVID vaccination centres (CVCs), citizens below 45 years shall also be eligible to receive a jab from a government CVC in a state or Union Territory which decides to lower the minimum cut off age for eligibility.

Just two weeks after rolling out the vaccine to those aged 45 and over, we are now ready to invite those aged 42 and 43, as the largest vaccination programme in NHS history continues at speed, said Professor Stephen Powis, NHS Medical Director. Instead, perspective vaccine recipients above the age of 18 will have to register on the Aarogya Setu app or CoWIN to get the COVID-19 vaccine in India. So, if you are waiting for the registration to begin, you need to wait for some more time. Teachers are required to notify the school, Centner Academy, in writing of their vaccination status and are urged to wait until summer to get their vaccine if they have not yet been inoculated against the coronavirus.

The latest cohort of eligible people will start to receive a text message inviting them to get their jab through the National Health Service (NHS) Booking Service.

There will be no walk-in allowed for beneficiaries in the third phase to reduce crowding at all centres.

Enter the pin code of your area or select from the list of states, followed by districts.

For people below 45, CoviShield will cost up to Rs. 600 (~$8) at private hospitals, while Covaxin prices will be as much as Rs. 1,200 (~$16) per dose.

-On the Aarogya Setu app homepage, go to the "CoWIN" tab.

Must have a CoWIN registration to download the vaccination certification. This can be your Aadhaar card, driving licence, PAN card, passport, pension passbook, NPR smart card, or voter ID card (e-elector photo identity card).

The decision to open vaccination for all came after a second COVID-19 wave overwhelmed India. It also depends on where you choose to be vaccinated.
