According to The Hill, In a statement on Sunday, Green said she will "be introducing a resolution to expel Rep. Maxine Waters from Congress for her continual incitement of violence".

A chorus of Republicans blasted Rep. Maxine Waters Sunday for telling angry protesters to "stay in the streets" and "get more confrontational" during the seven-straight night of unrest in Minnesota - saying the California Democrat's fiery comments could incite violence in a state already on edge.

Waters urged protesters in Brooklyn Center "stay in the street" as she joined the protests on Saturday and violated the local curfew.

Nelson told the judge that her comments were a "threat" to the jury.

Demonstrations broke out in the city last week after police fatally shot 20-year-old Daunte Wright during a traffic stop on April 11. "If nothing does not happen, then we know that we got to not only stay in the street, but we have got to fight for justice", she added.

McCarthy said that if Pelosi does not act, he intends to take action of his own against Waters for her remarks encouraging violence in Minnesota if a jury does not find former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin guilty in his trial in the death of George Floyd.

"I'm aware that Congresswoman Waters was talking specifically about this trial, and about the unacceptability of anything less than a murder conviction, and talk about being 'confrontational, ' " Judge Peter Cahill said on Monday as the closing arguments wrapped up in the trial of Chauvin for the killing of George Floyd. "We've got to make sure they know we mean business".

In February, Greene was stripped of her committee from assignments on the education and budget committees because of violent and incendiary comments she's made, including her endorsement of the assassination of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

"If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them and you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere".

A spokesperson for Rep. Waters did not return Fox News' request for comment.

The trial is now with the jury.

Defending herself to theGrio in an interview, Waters said, "I am nonviolent". "This is also an abuse of power".

During former President Donald Trump's administration, Waters advocated that people "harass" Trump administration officials in their daily lives. For all of the people making the "what about Republicans!" argument, remember this: You can only claim the moral high ground if you don't get down in the dirt yourself. "And you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere", Waters said. And several of whom circulated a flier last week promoting the creation of the "America First" caucus that promised, among other things to foster "common respect for uniquely Anglo-Saxon political traditions".
