Trump's daughter-in-law Lara Trump promoted a new interview with the former president on Facebook and Instagram Tuesday, but a workaround to Trump's ban on two of the world's most popular social networks wasn't long for this world.

According to the description of the interview on Lara Trump's The Right View site, in the 18-minute video the ex-president discusses "social media censorship, China, Joe Biden, the FAKE NEWS, and a potential 2024 run!"

She was apparently swiftly cautioned by Facebook that anything posted "in the voice of President Trump" is not now allowed on Facebook or Instagram and would be subject to removal.

The Facebook spokeswoman, who spoke on condition that her name not be used, confirmed the email was real but declined to comment.

She later posted a screenshot of an email from Facebook that said her video with Trump speaking had been removed, citing the ban on his accounts.

Trump was suspended from Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites after the January 6 attack on the Capitol. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg claimed that the risks associated with allowing Trump to have a voice on the platform were "simply too great".

"In line with the block we placed on Donald Trump's Facebook and Instagram accounts, further content posted in the voice of Donald Trump will be removed and result in additional limitations on the accounts", the email read. Look away, move on, shut up and go on about your lives, forget Donald Trump existed. Twitter banned Trump permanently on January 8, and other internet companies have taken similar actions to "deplatform" Trump.
