President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden have sent their two German shepherds back to their home in DE, according to a new report, alleging that one of the dogs has acted aggressively toward staff and was even part of a "biting incident" against a member of White House security.

The episode was, however, seen as serious enough for both dogs, including 14-year-old Champ, to be returned to the Bidens' home in Wilmington last week.

The White House has been contacted for comment.

With the Education Department review, Biden's intent is to set policies to help ensure that students have an environment free from sexual harassment and without discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity, according to one White House official who briefed reporters on the orders.

CNN reported that Major is the rowdier of the dogs and that he sometimes exhibits aggressive behavior like barking, jumping and "charging" at staff. Champ at 14 is reportedly more mellow.

It raised $200,000 for the Delaware Humane Association.

The first lady last month said she was focusing on helping the dogs readjust to their new life.

In December, President Biden broke his foot and ended up in a boot, telling the media that he slid on a rug while chasing Major and grabbing the dog's tail.

While the dogs are known to spend time in DE when their owners are out of town, it's unclear when the dogs would be allowed to return to the White House.

"They have to take the elevator, they're not used to that, and they have to go out on the South Lawn with lots of people watching them", she told The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Champ is the older of the two dogs, having been bought from a breeder as a puppy shortly after the 2008 election.

"And I'm walking through this little alleyway to get to the bedroom".

Biden also said the only place the dogs are not allowed is on the furniture, though she admitted to catching Major on the couch.

The council is part of "a government-wide focus on uplifting the rights of women and girls in the United States and around the world", according to a White House fact sheet.

Ahead of Biden's speech Monday, Vice President Kamala Harris marked International Women's Day with a virtual address to the European Parliament, while First Lady Jill Biden, during a State Department ceremony, honored almost two dozen women from around the world for demonstrating courage in pursuit of justice.
