A total of 1,363 people in B.C. have died of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.

The Flathead City-County Health Department has confirmed seven additional COVID-19 related deaths in Flathead County.

Last week, Public Health released data comparing first-dose COVID-19 vaccine allocations for 15 counties - the five counties with the largest, smallest and median size populations.

Island Health has identified the locations of 303 active cases, including 188 in the Central Island, 71 in the North Island and 44 in the South Island.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 21,68,58,774 samples have been tested for coronavirus till February 28, with 6,27,668 samples being tested on Sunday.

Long Beach health officials announced another 40 COVID cases on Monday, while Pasadena announced 19.

Ferrer expressed optimism about a single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine now being approved for emergency use, and said doses will arrive in the county as early as this week, joining the two-dose Moderna and Pfizer vaccines already being administered.

As of last Friday, some 426,070 doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in Ireland, with 285,780 people having received their first dose and 140,290 people receiving their second dose.

The latest death, reported on Saturday was that of a man over the age of 70 in the Eastern Health region.

The report has no active COVID-19 hospitalizations.

There are now 89 active cases of which five people are hospitalized. "When people appreciate effort being made by others, they typically become more likely to follow", Professor Lunn said. The remaining people with COVID-19 are recovering at home in self-isolation.

There are now 78 active cases in Knox County.

Henry and Dix also credited the shorter timeline on Health Canada's approval of the AstraZeneca vaccine, which they said will mean "more people will be vaccinated more quickly".

As of today there are 540 people in Ireland hospitalised due to COVID-19, of whom 120 are in the ICU. The disparity was impacting the county's ability to get residents vaccinated and hindering efforts to ensure equitable access to vaccine.
