A spokesperson from Buckingham Palace revealed that Her Majesty, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales and the entire royal family are "delighted" and wish them well.
The couple says, "We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother".
The news was accompanied by a gorgeous black-and-white photo of the pair showing Meghan with her head in Harry's lap as she cradles her baby bump.
"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child".
The black and white image that has just been released was taken remotely by their friend, photographer Misan Harriman.
