India vs England: Fans to be Allowed For 3rd Test, BCCI to Extend Invitation to PM Narendra Modi

England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) are waiting for a confirmation from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on the decision to allow fans in the stadium for the last three Tests. However, after the government announced a revised regulation of having 50% capacity crown, TNCA is rethinking.

Despite several injuries to key players, the Ajinkya Rahane led Team India made a great comeback from 0-1 down to beat hosts 2-1 in the four-match Test series in Virat Kohli's absence.

According to a report by Sportstar, TNCA is contemplating having fans for the second Test at least.

The Motera stadium which recently underwent a renovation is now the biggest stadium in the world in terms of seating capacity.

In the SOP for resumption of sports competitions in the country released on December 26, the Sports Ministry had allowed for stadiums to filled upto 50 per cent of their seating capacity in outdoor events. "The media will also be able to cover the game from the stadium", a BCCI source was quoted as saying by the English daily on Monday. Asked if Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be invited for the first Test match in the refurbished Motera Stadium, the BCCI official answered in the affirmative. This will be the first global match after the Ahmedabad stadium was built.
