K-pop boy band GOT7 to leave JYP Entertainment: agency

In keeping with Dispatch, the thirty fifth Golden Disc Awards can be GOT7's final exercise as a bunch. The seven members were thoroughly seen enjoying themselves on stage and ensured that they leave no stone unturned. Thus, giving hope that though they are venturing into solo careers, they hope to work together more in the future as well as a group.

JYP Entertainment bin form di band for 2014 and di members include JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom.

The news of GOT7's departure from the label first came to light after South Korean news outlets reported that the members of the group were in the middle of contract negotiations with other labels. GOT7 will officially leave JYP Entertainment on January 19, 2021. As previously reported, Jinyoung will pursue his acting career by signing with BH Entertainment. Rapper Jackson Wang will continue under his own label Team Wang, while BamBam and Mark Tuan are reportedly in talks with various labels as well as possibly founding their own companies. GOT7 has been together through the growth of both K-Pop and JYP Entertainment, and we would like to thank the fans, iGOT7's, who have been the driving force behind GOT7's promotions with the generous support they have shown since their debut.

The second member Yugyeom is considering mastering hip-hop professionally and is said to be finalizing his contract with AOMG. He is said to be now considering signing a contract with MAKEUS Entertainment.

But only time will tell if GOT7 members will be able to reunite and perform as one group, despite being in different agencies and starting solo activities as musicians and actors.

GOT7's latest full-length album 'Breath Of Love: Last Piece" released on November 30, 2020, along with two music videos - "Breath" and "Last Piece'.

Although the official relationship is over, JYP will sincerely support the new future for the GOT7 members. "Now, the septet took to their individual Instagram pages and shared a selfie posing with each other and captioned it as "#GOT7FOREVER".

"Fans of the group also sent well-wishes to the members on social media using the hashtag "#GOT7FOREVER".
