Redmi has announced its new mid-range smartphone, the Note 9T.
Talking about the expected features of this smartphone, the upcoming Redmi phone can have a 6.53-inch display. Also, a battery of 5,050mAh is tipped to keep the lights on for many hours. Coming to its camera section, this phone features a triple rear AI camera setup (with an LED flash) that includes a 48MP primary/wide sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.
Redmi Note 9T is available in two captivating color variants - Nightfall Black and Daybreak Purple. The Snapdragon 732G SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage could power the device. As previously speculated, the device is a rebranded model of the Redmi Note 9 5G that was released in China in November a year ago. With the fingerprint sensor placed on the side, the screen can be unlocked without any problems. The Redmi Note 10 Pro with the mannequin quantity M2101K6I was just lately listed on the Indian BIS certification web site.
Otherwise, the Redmi 9T is identical to the Poco M3, featuring a Snapdragon 662 chipset, 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD screen, a 6,000mAh battery with 18W charging, and a quad rear camera setup (48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP). The setup also consists of an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor with a macro lens.
The Note 9T costs €229 (around Rs. 20,500) and €269 (roughly Rs. 24,100) for the 64GB and 128GB storage options, respectively.
For connectivity, the device should offer support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port. There is also an 8-megapixel selfie shooter at the front, with an f/2.05 lens on top. The phone will be available in four colours - Twilight Blue, Sunset Orange, Carbon Gray and Ocean Green.
The Redmi 9T also comes with 64GB and 128GB of storage options, expandable till up to 512GB via a microSD card. The lack of faster wired charging in particular is disappointing given the size of the battery, but it's understandable given the price point.
The Redmi 9T measures 162.3 x 77.3 x 9.6mm, while it weighs 198 grams. This is backed up by 4x4 MIMO antenna tech, enabling faster, more reliable connections.
