Yes, the National Dog Show Is Happening Today...With Some Changes

An English Springer Spaniel named Teddy, victor of the sporting group, was named Reserve Best in Show.

For the Best in Show category, Claire was selected over wire fox terrier Vinny (terrier group), Affenpinscher Chester (toy), English springer spaniel Teddy (sporting), Portuguese water dog Bowie (working), miniature American shepherd Jimmy (herding), and poodle Kam (non-sporting). Search for dogs from across the country, in over 200 breeds and breeds, competing for Best in Show Honors in seven groups. In addition, only 600 dogs will compete faster than 2,000 in a typical year.

The National Dog Show 2020 will, in fact, be taking place today.
