The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided the house of Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa, official sources said. In the video, Bharti can be seen making her way into the NCB office. The visuals show that Harsh left with NCB officials in a white van while Bharti followed in a red Mercedes.

Bharti Singh is a popular comedian in India and is now a part of The Kapil Sharma Show and also hosts a television reality show along with her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa.

ANI quoted Sameer Wankhede saying, "She and her husband both have been detained for questioning by NCB about possession of narcotics substances". She has also hosted a few such shows. Bharti's name apparently cropped up during the interrogation of a drug peddler.

The investigating agency is carrying out raids to nab the drug peddlers following Sushant Singh Rajput's mysterious death on June 14, this year.

Bharti got married to Haarsh on December 3, 2017, and the couple is now hosting TV dance reality India's Best Dancer. They included actresses Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, model-cum-actor Arjun Rampal, and filmmaker Firoz Nadiadwala, whose wife Shabana was arrested and got bail after some quantities of "commercial quantity" drugs were found at her residence. Rhea Chakraborty and some other accused are now out on bail.
