Godfall Launch Trailer Reveals PS5 Console Exclusivity Until May 2021

Here's Nearly an Hour of Godfall Gameplay Godfall’s PS5 Launch Trailer Shows Off Two Minutes Of Stunning Combat
Melba Vasquez | 06 November, 2020, 20:59

One of the first few games that were initially announced for the upcoming PlayStation 5 was the fantasy looter-slasher entitled Godfall, which is scheduled to launch one week from now on November 12 for the next-gen console and PC via the Epic Games Store. Touted as the first of its kind, the looter-slasher, melee action-RPG is ready for PC and PS5 players around the globe and the folks at Counterplay are prepared. The publisher has released a final launch trailer emphasizing the third-person adventure's lush locations, wonderful effects, and hard-hitting, ground-shaking combat.

If you take a look at all the other launch titles for the PS5, you'll see that a lot of them are available on other consoles, even including the PlayStation 4.

"Save Aperion", began the short synopsis for Godgall.

Already skilled in hand-to-hand combat, the Valorian Knights are able to enhance their armor, weaponry, and skills with the use of "Valorplates", Zodiac-inspired relics which add buffs and effects when applied to your protagonist.

After all, releasing Godfall on the Xbox Series X could potentially be a significant loss for the PS5 and Sony. The console exclusivity is expected to last for at least six months. When he's not handing out beatdowns in the latest fighting games, exploring video game history, or playing through RPGs with his partner, he's searching for new food and drinks in the constant pursuit of good times with good people inside and outside the South Texas area.

What are your thoughts on the new trailer and the developer commentary that followed?

Are you planning on picking Godfall up? What do you think of timed exclusives?

If you enjoy this writer's work, please consider supporting them by tossing a Ko-fi their way! Thank you so much for your support.
