The SAOCOM 1B satellite released by Argentina's area company will comply with a sun-synchronous orbit that will make it possible for it to keep track of spots on Earth at the identical time each individual working day.
But the Starlink booster was not hauled out of its hangar until early Sunday, and SpaceX later said in a tweet the team had called off the launch attempt "due to inclement weather during pre-flight operations". But the evening launch of a Falcon 9 rocket carrying a SAOCOM 1B satellite from Space Launch Complex 40 still remains "GO", SpaceX announced. SpaceX also recovered the booster again with a controlled landing back at their landing site at Cape Canaveral.
With the SAOCOM 1B mission organized by SpaceX, the American company launched its 100th rocket.

SpaceX has confirmed that the first stage of the Falcon 9 used in the Saocom mission will aim to touch down on Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. In addition, a rocket optimized for equatorial launches was launched into polar orbit for the first time in 50 years.
It was the first mission to launch to polar orbit from Florida since February 26, 1969.
Per the 45th Space Wing tasked with range support for all Cape Canaveral launches, the forecast for SpaceX's SAOCOM 1B launch predicts conditions will be just as bad as the weather that forced SpaceX to scrub its 10:12 am EDT Starlink-11 launch attempt. The first stage even landed safely at LZ1 in Florida. The deployments are part of SpaceX's recently launched Smallsat Rideshare Program.
Bound for a 360-mile-high orbit, the $600 million SOACOM system is created to monitor soil moisture and a range of other factors affecting the agricultural sector, collecting high-resolution data around the clock regardless of cloud cover.
