There are no new deaths to COVID-19, the province remains at 203.

Among the new cases, Northern Health added four for a recorded total of 137.

After cases began rising in late June and early July, the number of new cases has dropped steadily in August.

The state also has 13 more deaths from coronavirus related complications bringing the death toll to 1,806.

The county had gone 22 straight days without a death connected to COVID-19 prior to Wednesday, according to data from the McHenry County Health Department.

"Delayed reporting. means that 265 people who tested positive for COVID-19 were not contacted by health officials in a timely manner", the department said in a statement.

Cases presumed active, meaning test results were confirmed within the last 14 days, also continued to notably decline.

There have also been no new healthcare facility outbreaks.

The McHenry County Health Department reports only ZIP code data that is located within McHenry County, a department spokeswoman said.

Currently, 21 individuals are hospitalized with COVID-19, seven of whom are in intensive care.
