Private Division Ori developer signs publishing deal with Take-Two's Private Division for new action-RPG

Developer Moon Studios has signed a new publishing deal for an action-RPG with Take-Two's label, Private Division. Today, while we didn't learn anything new about the game itself, we did find out that Private Division will be publishing.

"Developing the Ori series over the last decade has been a fantastic experience for our team, and we're thrilled to now be aiming our sights even higher with a new action RPG", studio founders Thomas Mahler and Gennadiy Korol said.

All of these games are in development and we haven't seen anything about what they are working on.

Speaking after the announcement, Michael Worosz- executive vice president and head of Private Division- described why each studio had actually been looked for out by the publishing label. To this level, it's published The Outer Worlds, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, and Disintegration, as neatly as republishing Kerbal Situation Program. Meanwhile, development team League of Geeks is also making a game with Private Division.

Of these new deals, Moon Studios stands out as the crown jewel.

When Microsoft went on its recent spending spree, buying up independent developers to bolster its own first party line-up, many were surprised at some of the choices, which included such relatively unknown studios as We Happy Few maker Compulsion Games.

Roll7 is developing a new "flow state" game for Private Division. Based in Melbourne, League fo Geeks are expected to establish a new digital board title.

"It's equally important for us to build games with heart that can rally and foster a dedicated community of players, as it is to develop games that are critical, cultural, and commercial successes", co-founder and director Blake Mizzi said. "This partnership provides the opportunity for us to grow our studio alongside our ambitions to create something beyond anything we've developed before". The three titles planned with each of these partners are all now in early development so there are no release dates yet.

As a result of this series of new partnerships, Private Division promises to announce more details about each project soon.
