This Indian citizen made a place in NASA's new 13 astronaut

Workers and contractors who worked on the core stage of NASA's Space Launch System rocket that will be used for the Artemis 1 Mission follow the rocket as it is transported to the Pegasus barge at the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility where it was built This Indian citizen made a place in NASA's new 13 astronaut

Joshua Kudryk and Jenni Sidey-Gibbons graduated Friday along with 11 Americans from NASA's basic astronaut training and will be part of the next generation of space explorers hoping to return to Earth's satellite and beyond.

NASA's new class of astronauts - the first to graduate since the agency announced its Artemis program - appear on stage during their graduation ceremony at the agency's Johnson Space Center in Houston on January 10, 2020.

An Indian-American will be among astronauts who may get a chance to go to the moon or Mars following his graduation from NASA's programme to train astronauts for those missions and the International Space Station. The crew may also have the opportunity to fly to Mars as NASA continues to push space exploration forward.

The 11 astronauts were selected among 18,000 applicants after NASA announced its Artemis program in 2017.

An accomplished test pilot, he is a colonel in the US Air Force and served as the commander of the 461st Flight Test Squadron and as the director of the F-35 Integrated Test Force. Chari's wife, Holly, is a Cedar Falls native and they have three children.

The CSA's newest astronauts are Joshua Kutryk, a Royal Canadian Air Force lieutenant colonel, and Jennifer Sidey-Gibbons who holds a doctorate in engineering from the University of Cambridge where she was working as an assistant professor in combustion in the Department of Engineering. He earned a master's degree in aeronautics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and graduated from the US Naval Test Pilot School in Patuxent River, Maryland.

They are the first to finish because NASA revealed the Artemis program to go back to the Moon by 2024, this time around on its south post, as the United States prepares to position the following guy and also first lady on lunar dirt and also established an orbital spaceport station.

"Completion of this first-time build of the Space Launch System rocket's core stages puts humans on the cusp of a new era of space exploration", said John Honeycutt, the SLS Program Manager at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.

Once astronauts dock Orion at the Gateway - which is a small spaceship in orbit around the moon - the astronauts will be able to live and work around the Moon, and from the spaceship, astronauts will take expeditions to the surface of the Moon. Not only do they help develop new space technologies, advance scientific knowledge and promote Canada in space, they inspire all Canadians to look to the stars and dream about what is possible. These spacesuits feature advanced mobility and communications and interchangeable parts that can be configured for spacewalks in microgravity or on a planetary surface.

Additional missions to the moon are planned once a year for the objective of sustainable lunar exploration. "How can you not see this moon up here all day and not want to walk all over it?" Both were highly memorable to him because they each allowed him to experience the anticipated physiological effects and experience of spaceflight - experiences that he and surely all of his fellow graduates, will hopefully enjoy soon. "We came in peace for all mankind".

However, NASA eventually chose to continue with the Green Run, in spite of the overwhelming time pressure, because "Astronaut safety is our #1 priority" and it "increases probability of a successful moon landing in 2024". Since then, seven nations have followed suit. SLS is the only rocket that can send Orion, astronauts and supplies to the Moon on a single mission.
