Jio set to unleash tariff war, Airtel offers bundled phone

Sources said the new "Jio Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan" offer will be announced on Thursday and will continue for a week. The offer has started from today on 12th October and it will be valid until 18th October, just a day before Diwali which will be celebrated on 19 October this year. In this you will get 100% cashback on the recharge of ₹399. But it is important to note that the offer is only meant for Jio prepaid users.

Reliance Jio has announced a new Jio Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan offer.

The telco has mentioned that the recharge will work like an advance recharge which the customers can use after the expiry of their current recharge validity. The vouchers can then be redeemed one at a time against future Jio recharges of Rs 309 and above plans and against Rs 91 and above data add-ons. Users can only avail these redemptions after November 15, 2017. The cashback will be given as vouchers when users will recharge their numbers.

To recall, the Rs 399 recharge comes with a validity of 84 days and users will be getting 84GB of data with a daily FUP limit of 1GB per day along with unlimited local and STD voice calls.

Yesterday, India's No 1 telecom player Airtel has partnered with Karbonn Mobiles to sell 4G smartphone at an effective price of Rs 1,399, undercutting Jio's 4G featurephone priced at Rs 1,500, through an initiative called "Mera Pehla 4G Smartphone".
