While the event was an online event, it did not disappoint with the Xiaomi Mi 10 line announced today. The Mi 10 Pro is of course the big brother here housing a 108MP sensor with an 8P lens created to capture more light than others.

Both the phones will also be launching in India soon as Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain has started teasing their launch on his Twitter handle. The tweet says "Here's #Mi10 with all the specs one can imagine in a smartphone - SD 865, #108MP, 5G and more". Thank you for your continued support, and we kindly look forward to unveiling our latest flagship 5G smartphone in the near future. After serious consideration, we have also made a decision to reschedule the Oppo Find X2 Global Launch event, originally scheduled on 22nd February. The phone runs on the latest version of MIUI 11 and Xiaomi claims an AnTuTu score of 585,232, which is now among the fastest Android phones in the world. DxOMark has rated the Mi 10 Pro camera at 124, making it the best camera phone for the time being.

The latest Xiaomi Mi 10 features a curved 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1,120 nits peak brightness. The device also supports 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging, putting it up there against the best flagship smartphones. The Mi 10 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Yuan 4299 or almost Rs 43,000 plus on conversion. It is powered by Snapdragon 865 chipset and offers up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage.

The brand revealed that its Mi 10 phone has scored 585,232 scores on Antutu. In addition to the super WiFi and Bluetooth, this phone also adds NFC support. The Mi 10 houses a 4780mAh battery with 30W fast charging.

The Mi 10 packs a large 4,780mAh battery with 30W fast charging, while the Mi 10 Pro has a slightly smaller 4,500mAh battery with faster 50W fast charging. This device support Wi-Fi 6 which comes with a throughput rate of 9.6Gbps.

As for photography, there are a total of four cameras at the back.

The Mi 10 Pro has a 108MP main camera which boasts a 1/1.33-inch type sensor and f/1.69 aperture.

This device comes with a quad-rear camera setup. Xiaomi is using a 20-megapixel single camera for taking selfies.

These, along with some digital zooming let the Mi 10 Pro cover the 0.6x to 50x zoom range. This price is for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.

Xiaomi's Mi 10 will start at Yuan 3999 or almost Rs 40,000 plus on conversion for the base 8GB RAM and 128GB version. For CNY 5499 (approximately Rs 55,500), you can get up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Alongside the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, Xiaomi also unveiled a bunch of companion accessories including a snap-on air cooler (129 yuan) that should reduce the temperature by up to 10-degrees, a wireless charger+speaker combo (249 yuan), and 30W wireless charging stand (199 yuan) in China. Furthermore, it comes equipped with up to 12GB of RAM as and up to 512GB internal storage as well.
