Officials confirmed that a shooting occurred near Nathan Phillip's Square during the ceremony, following the parade throughout downtown Toronto to celebrate the Raptors' first National Basketball Association title in franchise history. Toronto Police Services has also revealed their identities to the public today in a news release. The site was quickly overflowing with fans of all ages and police worked to stop more people from entering the area, which the city said was at capacity.

Miller will appear next in court on July 10, while Toussaint will next appear in court on Friday.

Police had recovered two guns related to the shooting but Saunders explained that those guns do not match the one that was discharged based on the casings found at the scene.

The soon-to-be 28-year-old won't come cheap, so the Lakers likely wouldn't be able to afford Leonard's salary anyways, but Wojnarowski also said signing somewhere to be the third wheel on a super team has not been Leonard's modus operandi.

The suspect police are looking for is described as a male with a heavy build, around five-foot-nine, short brown hair and wearing a white button-down shirt.

Eye witnesses said word of the shooting sent a section of the crowd into a stampede, with people screaming and hiding in nearby bushes. No fatalies have occured. Two suffered "serious but non-life-threatening" injuries and three were arrested after the incident, delaying the final portion of Monday's celebrations, which had already been pushed back by hours due to overcrowding on and at the end of the parade route.

There's a lot to consider, but the eternal optimist in me thinks an extended stay north of the border certainly doesn't hurt Toronto's chances.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-5200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477.
