Google Pixel 4 leaked schematics show square camera bump, missing fingerprint scanner

Google Pixel 4 is a brazen iPhone 11 copycat based on new leak Google Pixel 4 renders show a camera arrangement that nobody asked for

After the launch of Pixel 3a, the rumour mill has shifted its focus on Google's upcoming flagship smartphone - Pixel 4. Leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known as OnLeaks, got his hands on schematics revealing Google's latest efforts for the Pixel.

Folks at GSMArena partnered with a tipster Shivam Pandya has revealed three exclusive shots of the alleged Google Pixel 4.

The glass rear of the Pixel 4 does not seem to feature a fingerprint sensor.

In addition to this, the smartphones are expected to ditch the front-facing stereo speakers, as the image tips at an earpiece speaker at the top part. This would be the first time Google have used a multiple rear camera setup, instead focusing their efforts on computational photography and their dual pixel camera sensor.

We're not sure if this is exactly for the Pixel 4 or Pixel 4 XL but we'll just say from the next Pixel flagship version.

Credit: Unbox TherapyNotable phone leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer surprised everyone yesterday (June 10) with renders of the Pixel 4, revealing an aesthetic nearly identical to the one Apple is reportedly pursuing with the iPhone 11.

Once again, these image renders are simply the concept imaginings of one person, and Google has yet to even officially comment on the existence of the Pixel 4 XL, let alone its design. Thus whenever we see something remotely Pixel 4-related we get a little bit excited. Like every other smartphone maker has done in the last several years. The 5.5-inch full HD+ OLED display of Google Pixel 3 was clearly a big jump in terms of quality (along with HDR10) as compared from that of Pixel 2.

The new firmware weighs around 300kb if you are already running the previous Beta 4 build, but if you aren't, then you should expect to receive a much larger update.
