Lori Loughlin's daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli, 19, received a crushing blow on March 14 when cosmetics giant Sephora ended their partnership with her amid the college admissions scandal. The University has fired Heinel as a result.

Loughlin stood with her lawyer in the Los Angeles courtroom Wednesday and didn't speak except to answer "yes" to the judge's questions. Prosecutors said those claims were false as neither of the Gianulli sisters is a member of the university's rowing team.

Prosecutors in the United States attorney's office in Boston said his company, Edge College & Career Network, made $US25 million since embarking on the fraud in 2011, offering what he promised was a "guarantee" of admission.

Another Twitter user said: "So what I've learned from #CollegeCheatingScandal is that rich kids are so stupid that they can't get into colleges without cheating".

A spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Investigation confirmed to ET that there is an arrest warrant out for Lori, who was out of town and not at her house when authorities showed up.

On Tuesday, news broke that celebrities including actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin were charged in a massive fraud bust.

The schools involved included Georgetown University, Stanford University, UCLA, the University of San Diego, the University of Southern California, University of Texas, Wake Forest, and Yale.

"50 people were charged with participating in a college admissions scheme, with court documents noting specifically that Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli had paid "$500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team - even though they did not participate in crew - thereby facilitating their admission to USC".

Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli are accused of paying $500,000 in bribes in order to get their daughter Olivia into USC.

From 2011 until February of this year, Singer is accused of conspiring with dozens of parents, school athletic coaches, administrators, and others to use fraud and bribery to get students into colleges.

The two are among 50 people charged for taking part in the largest such scam in US history, which steered students into elite universities including Yale, Georgetown and Stanford by cheating the admissions process. Prosecutors in the USA attorney's office in Boston say his company, Edge College & Career Network, amassed $25 million through the fraud.

Huffman has been charged with felony conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud, according to federal court documents filed Monday in ma.

Huffman appeared court Tuesday and was released on $250,000 bond after surrendering her passport.

By comparison, the average annual cost of tuition and fees at a private, four-year college is $29,478, the US Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics' most recent report shows.
