Google's Gmail, Drive, YouTube and some other services suffer global outage

Google's Gmail and Drive suffer global outages It's not just you: Gmail, YouTube, and other Google services are down right now

The notice of the resumption of Google services comes as users of Facebook and its associated applications reported issues accessing the platforms. The issue was apparently affecting users of workplace G-Suite accounts as well as Google account holders, though the reason for the outbreak remained unclear and come users could still access Google Drive.

For me, I noted earlier today that I couldn't log in, with a successful password entry showing a message about the network being down, and now showing the message "LOGIN UNAVAILABLE", with the follow-on statement that "Bendigo e-banking is currently unavailable".

"We will provide more information shortly", the company said on its Google Drive service website.

An advisory said that during the service disruption, users will experience issues in accessing Gmail, particularly in attaching or accessing attachments, saving draft emails and sending emails.

As for Google Drive, while users could open Drive, downloading and uploading files has been an issue since a few hours now.

Business Insider was not able to send an email to seek comment from Google. "We are continuing to investigate this issue".

Some users affected by the outage claim that they are not able to send or receive emails. By midnight ET, users in countries all around the world discovered themselves having non-working Gmail accounts. However, Google has not confirmed this issue.
