Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is edging closer to a move to China, after agreeing in "principle" a deal with Shandong Luneng.

However, Mourinho's departure has thrown Fellaini's future into doubt and the 30-year-old has attracted interest from both Inter Milan and AC Milan, as well as clubs in China.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed he is unsure of Marouane Fellaini's Manchester United future ahead of a potential move to China.

However, the 31-year-old now appears set to leave the club just seven months on, with the Chinese transfer window remaining open until February 28 ahead of the 2019 Chinese Super League getting underway.

The Belgian has been linked with a move overseas with a transfer to China the most likely option according to reports.

The 31-year-old is now sidelined with a calf injury he picked in United's 5-1 win over Cardiff City - Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first game in charge of the club.

The 31-year-old has been with the Old Trafford giants since 2013, with the former Everton midfielder establishing himself as a key figure under Jose Mourinho. He has also lifted four trophies with the club, namely the FA Cup, the FA Community Shield, the League Cup and the UEFA Europa League trophy.

Fellaini has not been part of the United squad after injuring his calf and had been in Antwerp, Belgium, for treatment this week.
