Susan Boyle reprised her hit cover of the Rolling Stones' Wild Horses during an emotional appearance on America's Got Talent.

After hearing her perform, Mel explained why she had to press her golden buzzer. "I want that jaw-dropping moment, ' because you are what the show is", Howie Mandel added.

The Scottish star made it to the final but came in second second place to Ashley Banjo's dance crew Diversity.

"What an absolute honour and pleasure it is to be sitting here and listening to you and your angelic voice", she said.

Don't call it a comeback, because Susan Boyle never really left the spotlight after winning our hearts on Britain's Got Talent back in 2009 (yes, that's 10 years ago now).

After watching her sing, Cowell told her: "I can not think of any other contestant who has defined this show better than you".

The America's Got Talent: The Champions team are absolutely living for golden buzzer act Susan Boyle.

America's Got Talent: The Champions, which premiered on Monday, 7th January 2019, brings back successful contestants from earlier versions of the United Kingdom and U.S. versions of the show.

Speaking about appearing on the show, Susan said: "I was runner-up in Britain's Got Talent series three in 2009". You're the one, you made a huge difference in a lot of people's lives.

While the Buzzer will advance Boyle straight to the finals, she'll still face some stiff competition from the show's other acts, including several former AGT winners like magician Shin Lim and ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer.

Despite finishing second on Britian's Got Talent, Boyle says she already feels like a champion "for those who don't have the confidence to do things, for those who don't have a voice (and) the ones who people tend to ignore". She has released a further six studio albums, and been nominated for two Grammy Awards.

Another added: "Susan Boyle is back and she looks hotter than ever folks!"
