As revealed via a new video and blog post on Second Dinner's website, Brode and the rest of the team announced that they're now creating a project associated with Marvel. Details of the game have not been revealed.
Second Dinner has secured $30 million in funding from Chinese tech giant NetEase, though the developers specifically note that they have "complete creative control" over this project and any others moving forward. Though the press release doesn't mention what kind of game we can expect, the team is very enthusiastic about their time play testing and the feedback they've been receiving. This includes obscure picks, in addition to fan favourites.
"Second Dinner was created about eight months ago, though CCO Ben Brode noted in an announcement video, "[We've been] working on, I think, a sick Marvel game for about six months.
As for the partnership with Marvel, Head of Marvel Games, Jay Ong, expressed great optimism about working with Second Dinner on this new project.

The best news is, of course, that Brode and Chu will finally move Second Dinner into real offices and out of Brode's garage where the company has been housed since formation.
The company is looking for a client engineer and technical artist.
