Stefanos Tsitsipas, of Greece, lies on the court as he celebrates after defeating Alex De Minaur of Australia, during the ATP Next Gen tennis tournament final.

Rublev has maintained his form to advance to the semi-finals with win over Italian wild card Liam Caruana 4-3 (7), 4-1, 4-2 on Thursday.

In the absence of Alexander Zverev, who skipped the event for the second year after qualifying for the ATP Finals, Tsitsipas was the top seed and he made no secret of how much he wanted to come out on top.

The NextGen Tournament heads for the final in Milano as the top eight ranked male players gather in London for the ATP Tour Grand Finale, while the female players from Czech Republic and the United States are in Prague, for the final of the Federation Cup.

"Before a match, everyone is different, but for me I relax and chill", Fritz said. I mean, of course both of them playing fantastic, but you know what I try to mean.' Does he think it's because of luck? Look, for example, the match today of Tsitsipas that make wonderful season beating top players, and now - I'm not saying nothing bad about Munar.

But then the world No. 47 fell to No. 2 seed Alex de Minaur and Andrey Rublev, eliminating him from semifinal qualification.

De Minaur wasted four successive match points at the end of the fourth set and Munar saved another on his service in the fifth but the 19-year-old booked his place in the final on his sixth opportunity.

'Hopefully I'm going to make the pre-season like I never did before and I can perform well next season and can compete with the top players'.
