Our old pal McCree has a squabble on Route 66 with the Deadlock Gang and its leader, Ashe, who as it turns out is the game's newest hero.

While Kaplan teased that Echo will eventually be a playable hero-perhaps number 30-the biggest reveal of his presentation is that Ashe will be the newest hero joining Overwatch's ever-expanding roster. You can also use aim-down sights to deal additional damage with more precision.

But instead it was revealed to be Ashe, the leader of the Deadlock Gang.

"She blasts enemies by throwing dynamite, and her coach gun packs enough punch to put some distance between her and her foes".

"Ashe summons her trusted omnic sidekick, B.O.B., who charges forward and knocks enemies into the air, then lays down suppressing fire with his arm cannons".

This is definitely a DPS kit with a high skill ceiling.

Blizzard showed a new Overwatch animated short at BlizzCon 2018 called Reunion starring McCree. In the cinematic, Ashe and her gang fought with McCree over a mysterious container found in the wreckage of a newly-exploded train.

At the "Overwatch: What's Next" panel, game developers said Bob was almost a hero unto himself and joked that Ashe is hero 29, but Bob is hero 29.5.

"You've never been one to shy away from a good tip", McCree cracked, noting that he wants the crate that Ashe and Bob before the conversation quickly devolves into a standoff between McCree and the others. More to come on her, as Blizzard sends the information over.
