With this technology, and what he refers to as "new screen technology" (without detailing), he claims that Samsung and the Galaxy S10 will be ahead of the competition.

Bloomberg reported on Monday that the Samsung Company is collaborating with Verizon Communications to add to their new Samsung Galaxy S10 a 5G wireless chipset. And removing the headphone jack might result in loss of customers for Samsung as many people around the world also didn't like this move by Apple.

Yes, the S10 cancels the iris sensor and the ultrasonic fingerprint is enough to replace it.

The South Korea-based company is in talks with Verizon Communications to launch its Galaxy S10 in the United States with a fifth-generation wireless chipset, said the people, asking not to be identified because products are still under development.

Moreover, the report also suggests that the Galaxy S10 will be equipped with fingerprint recognition and the top two models of the series will feature an 'In-Display fingerprint sensor'. Meanwhile the rumoured third Galaxy S10 is supposed to have a the lesser optical-based fingerprint scanner, or some sort of physical key. To recall, Samsung unveiled this ISOCELL Plus technology back in June this year to improve low-light performance on mobile cameras. Samsung may also release a 5G version of the Samsung Galaxy S10+ as well. AndroidPIT will be there and we'll likely find out more about Samsung's 2019 smartphone lineup at the event. There are plenty of rumors about a folding phone being shown off, but some overlap between the Galaxy F and Galaxy X codenames make it hard to pinpoint exactly what to expect.

Background: Iris scanning has been part of Samsung's Android flagships since the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 launched in late summer of 2016. USA pricing hasn't yet been confirmed, but this phone sells for about $90 in other markets.
