"And I said, 'Ugh, I better apologize, because if I don't, for calling you attractive, because if I don't apologize they will go wild tomorrow, headlines Donald Trump called women handsome, ' they all say 'please call me lovely, '" he said.

Americans will vote November 6 in elections in which Trump's fellow Republicans will try to hold on to their majorities in the Senate and House of Representatives.

Republicans are looking into implementing an additional tax break for middle-income Americans ahead of the midterm elections, President Donald Trump said on Saturday.

Former US Vice President Joe Biden spoke during a rally at the Culinary Workers Union Hall Local 226 in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Trump isn't the only high-profile person campaigning in Nevada today--former VP Joe Biden is there too.

Biden had traveled to Nevada to stump for Democrats in the state, including Rep. Jacky Rosen, who's vying for a Senate seat now held by Republican Dean Heller.

"Democrats want America to become - it's not even they want it but that's what's going to happen - Venezuela", he said.

Biden said in his appearance that "basic American values are under assault" and that the upcoming election was "bigger than politics".

The heavily immigrant union's voter turnout was credited with giving Democrats key victories in Nevada in 2016. But Biden says Trump is "all about himself". The number of people who will effectively vote against the President was beaten only by Bush in 2006 when 39% of registered voters said they would use their vote against him.The intensity of voter feeling about the President does give him some hope, however, as it raises the prospect that he could defy precedent and recreate that feverish support among the GOP grass roots that confounded pollsters and resulted in his shock victory two years ago.Certainly, no recent President has done so much to cultivate his base voters, and so little to reach out to everyone else than Trump during his two years in office. Dean Heller, considered the most vulnerable Republican incumbent this fall.

The administration is beginning to pull together plans for the president's fiscal 2020 budget proposal, which Trump will present to Congress early next year. On Monday, the President will be in Texas to campaign for Republican Sen.

"I just hope they pick somebody good, somebody that's going to represent their interests", he continued before pivoting to attacks against Democratic Sens.

On a three-day swing out West to make his closing arguments for Republican candidates, Trump sought to hone in on immigration as one of the defining election issues this fall by falsely accusing Democrats of wanting "open borders" and encouraging illegal immigration.

On Friday night, Trump rallied thousands of supporters for GOP Senate candidate Rep. Martha McSally of Arizona.

Trump, trying to hold onto Republicans' narrow 51-49 advantage in the Senate, said a vote for Sinema "is dangerous" because it would empower Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
