Olivia Newton-John has revealed that she is sadly battling with cancer for a third time.
While Olivia beat her second bout of cancer, she is now battling the disease again, with a tumour previous year found at the base of her spine.
Newton-John lives in California with her husband, John Easterling.
Among the stars who spoke about Newton-John on 7's Sunday Night programme were Sir Barry Gibb and Sir Cliff Richard.
The English-born entertainer has become a fierce advocate for breast cancer screening in the 26 years since her first diagnosis.
Olivia first noticed a lump in her shoulder back in 2013, following her involvement in a minor vehicle crash.
"Olivia Newton-John's two upcoming speaking appearances in Australia were canceled due to scheduling conflicts with her upcoming promotional tour for her new book, "Don't Stop Believin" and the ONJ Cancer Wellness & Research Centre's Wellness Walk & Research Run", she said in a statement on social media.
"She told the show: "I thought 'It's my life" and I just made a decision to keep it to myself". "I truly believe it will be like last time and I will go on with my life", she writes in her autobiography.
But despite all the hardship, Olivia is keeping a positive mind and believes there are people out there who are far worse off than her. She added that she's treating the cancer with modern medicine and natural remedies, including homegrown marijuana from her Santa Barbara, Calif., ranch. "And I'm doing really well".
Revealing she is continuing to fight her battle, she added: "I am one of millions in this journey".
'I live in this lovely place.
"I'm a very privileged person, and I'm very aware of that": Olivia doesn't spend any time feeling sorry for herself, despite her health struggles. I have an incredible career.
The actress has previously spoken about the "shock" of the diagnosis, which came on the same weekend that her beloved father passed away from cancer. "My husband's ... always there to support me, and I believe I will win over it and that's my goal". I have nothing, really, to complain about'.
