The Razer Gaming Phone is getting a sequel

The Razer Gaming Phone is getting a sequel The Razer Gaming Phone is getting a sequel

The company has been expanding with retail stores, an agreement with SingTel and, probably most importantly, the introduction of a new vertical, the Razer Phone. Talking about the Razer Phone's response and impact on the market, the company added, "Razer is now focusing its resources into the development of the second generation Razer Phone", which is more than a clear indication of the company working on a new gaming smartphone. Launched in November previous year, the smartphone came with some high-end and unique features that set itself apart from the rest of the flagship competition.

That might suggest the Razer Phone 2 (which is an unconfirmed name, by the way) will be rolled out in bigger numbers, targeting a wider audience, as well as the same "very positive" critical reception as its forerunner.

Not just a phone, the company will focus on bringing more of its software offerings from PC to mobile.

What the Razer Phone 2 will include is anyone's guess, however the inclusion of the statement that they will ' extend its software and services from PC into the mobile market' sounds intriguing.

It seems like the recent wave of gaming smartphone is not going to falter.

In any case, Razer has its own customer base and we are quite sure that the 2nd generation Razer Phone will do well, possibly even better than the first one. But then, it is safe to assume that the Razer Phone 2 will be made available flaunting top caliber features as its predecessor has been praised with its powerful specs. The presumption is that the tech will involve some sort of game streaming from a PC to a smartphone.
