The country singer posted a video to tell fans about her upcoming "Cry Pretty" tour, which will kick off next May in support of her new album of the same name, which drops on September 14.

"You might be wondering or asking, 'Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?'" Underwood teased, before the camera panned back to show a "Baby" banner in balloons behind her.

The American Idol victor is expecting her second child with husband Mike Fisher, 38.

The Cry Pretty Tour 360 kicks off May 1 in Greensboro, N.C.

"We are over the moon and so excited" said Underwood, 35, adding that she's glad son Isaiah, 3, will finally have another sibling. "This has been a dream come true with the album and baby news and all that stuff".

Some fans were upset about her comments, and felt they were insensitive to those with struggling with fertility. "I love it when people say, 'You took a year off.' I'm like, 'You know, I had this shoot and this thing, and I was writing this and doing that.' There was always so much to do, but it was also a very soul-searching year for me".

The American Idol victor recently discussed the possibility of expanding her family in an interview with Redbook.

"I'm 25, so we may have missed our change to have a big family. In the meantime, we're lucky to be a part of organizations that help kids, because our focus right now in our lives is helping as many kids as possible".
