It has been over a week since Demi Lovato was found unconscious in her home following an apparent drug overdose.

Demi had been sober for six years at the start of this year, but revealed last month through a song entitled "Sober" that she had broken that sobriety.

While the singer will have the final say in the matter, people close to her have put their foot down leaving her with only two options, go for rehab or lose their numbers. "I would throw up and it would just be blood and it was something that I realized if I don't stop this", she said, "I am going to die".

Family members were keen to send Demi to rehab as soon as she's discharged from hospital, but despite claims she is now on board with the plans, sources reported earlier this week that she hadn't been told yet.

Demi is now recovering in hospital in Los Angeles, and is apparently suffering from a very high fever and extreme nausea, but reports say that she is "expected to make a full recovery".

After she's released, which could reportedly happen "any day now", she will go directly to rehab, the outlet reported. "She has to stay in the hospital for a few days more, but is expected to make a full recovery", a source close to her told the media.

Friends of the stars believe that the only way for her to finally cure is to leave the world of show business forever. History quickly became overgrown with rumors and, according to the representatives of Lovato, was not entirely interpreted. At the cries, Demi's security guard responded instantly and, as the insider said, began to give her artificial respiration before the ambulance arrived. It's unknown how long she will be in rehab or if/when she will be back on the road, but her next scheduled concert is on September 20 in Mexico City. She wants to be sober.
