And if you take a close look at the left of the leaked picture, it seems like the Mavic 2's motor-stabilized camera might be able to become a portable handheld gimbal as well.

In a leak coming from Drone DJ, we can reportedly see what the unannounced DJI Mavic 2 model will look like. Speculated features for the DJI Mavic Pro successor include swappable sensors and gimbals, as well as 360-degree obstacle avoidance. The drone also appeared to have two different sensor sizes, with what looked like a 1-inch sensor equipped to it and a 1/1.7 sensor on the table. And given DJI's sell for its postponed event mentioned "the bigger picture", it seems logical that the other key addition could be a wide-angle lens.

The image comes via DroneDJ, along with several notes on the likely specifications that the device may sport, according to what can be seen in the picture below.

One of the most interesting things about the leaked photos is the Mavic 2 label on the drone. The speculation is that the event will unveil the company's next drone after the DJI Mavic Pro, as the artwork for the event hints that imaging will be the highlight.

DJI is one of the top companies in the world of personal drones for shooting video and other content. DJI also has a history of having a tough time keeping its new products under wraps.

DJI was scheduled to hold a drone-focused event later this month, but it has since been pushed back with murmuring suggesting that the company needed more time to flawless its latest aerial offering.

A new date for that event hasn't been set and word was that it was pushed back due to the tech in the drone not quite being ready for primetime.

If the DJI Mavic 2 leak shows an accurate image, there are still some remaining questions about the next DJI drone.
