Chelsea ready to turn to Alisson

Thibaut Courtois says he has a “certain preference” amid Real Madrid rumours Chelsea ready to turn to Alisson

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois suggests that he will look to return to Spain this summer in order to be closer to his children.

Schmajhel was the main goalkeeper of the Danish national team at the 2018 World Cup.

He conceded twice but helped his country to overcome Japan, coming from 2-0 down to win 3-2, in the last 16 of the tournament on Monday.

But aside from his worldwide commitments, Courtois' Stamford Bridge future has been a hot topic in recent months.

The Belgian, who spent three seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid following his move to Chelsea in 2011, penned a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge back in 2014 which expires next summer. The difference is that my kids are in Madrid, and they have seen the game and they see their father and they want him to be close.

'I'm not going to talk about that now.

Chelsea are now locked in a battle with Liverpool and AS Roma for the signing of Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

He said: "My children are the most important thing for me: I now have 1.5 years less contact with them".

While he wants to sort out his future, the 26-year-old said the World Cup was his focus.

'The most important thing is my children and I'll decide what's best for me in everything'.

The Chelsea shot-stopper caught the headlines last week when he confirmed he had a preference over his next move.

Courtois made 154 appearances for Chelsea, and has won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup.
