Fans of Love Island were shocked and horrified when Megan Barton-Hanson chose to recouple with newcomer Alex Miller - whilst current beau Wes Nelson stayed faithful to her over in Casa Amor.

Singletons Wes and Georgia are immune from the vote, and we can guess that Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer are pretty safe too.

Do you think Megan is better suited to Wes or Alex?

Is it time for Alex to give up on Love Island?

Megan apologises to Wes for putting him in a hard situation and insists she hadn't meant to fall for Alex, it just happened. It's just a slightly shorter thumb: Picture: ITV2 Anyway, people have been LOSING it over Megan's thumbs and the some of the tweets are out of control.

And a fourth viewer blasted: "As a nation, can we please make a pact to vote Megan and Alex out because I can't deal with her sex face any longer".

Four Islanders are facing the axe in tonight's Love Island 2018 results.

However, by the looks of it, Megan hasn't totally given up on Wes, and they have a little chat in tonight's episode.

The 20-year-old was distraught about it, especially because he dumped Laura Anderson for Megan.

He said: "I put everything that I'd ever invested into you. I am not going to drop that".

Megan tells him: "I'd be lying if I didn't say when I see you chatting to Ellie I'm jealous".

We saw the tables turn yet again when he revealed he's going to "steal" Meg back from Alex, after she admitted she still fancies Wes. From her indecisiveness when it comes to the boys in the villa to the rumours of her mind-blowing plastic surgery, someone has ALWAYS got something to say about Megan.

Love Island airs at 9pm every night on ITV2.
