Almost two years after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, the former power couple have reached a new temporary custody agreement over their six children for this summer, Us Weekly confirms.

According to The Blast, a judge ruled that if she doesn't help fix her children's relationship with her ex, she could lose primary custody.

Angelina Jolie, 43, and Brad Pitt, 54, have reached a temporary custody agreement, according to new court documents obtained by Us Weekly.

A judge in the former couple's divorce case says that the children "not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them" and "it is critical that each of them have a healthy and strong relationship with their father and mother", according to The Blast.

Court documents show a judge has restricted how much Jolie can control Pitt's interaction with the kids, according to reports by outlets including People and TMZ.

"It is hard for her to be away from the kids, but she is working a lot this summer too, so she has no choice but to go along with the judge's orders and have faith that the kids time with Brad will be safe and good for them".

Following their split, Pitt was investigated by multiple agencies after Jolie alleged that he had a drinking problem and was abusive to their children.

It may even "result in the court ordering primary physical custody" to Pitt. The court also forbid her from reading the text messages that Brad sends to his children.

From June 27 to July 1, the actor again gets custody of one or two children at a time for ten hours, and the children will be accompanied by a child therapist. He is responsible for returning them back to Jolie in London on July 29, in addition to paying for their transportation. Pitt will have custody again from August 11 until the next scheduled court hearing on August 13.

The Fight Club star will see the minor children in London, where Jolie is renting a house, for 10 days in mid-June where he can spend time with one or two of them for four hours per day.

Sources told E! News that the rift has "dragged on for months, ' is at the heart of 'why the divorce is not final" yet almost two years after Jolie filed.

'She wants to take the kids to London with her while she's shooting - and she's frustrated with the process, ' the source said. He will then get four consecutive days with his children from July 8 through July 14. Because Maddox is older, the court is allowing him to decide how much time he wants to spend with his father. The doctors will also spend time with the kids while in L.A.
