"He turned all Africa against himself, many African fans turned away from Manchester City", he said.

The Ivory Coast worldwide, who brought to an end a successful eight-year spell at the Etihad Stadium last month, launched a scathing attack on the City manager this week. Do you really think he could've been like that with Andres Iniesta?

At least that should be the case but his legacy has been tarnished somewhat.

In an interview with France Football magazine, Toure criticised Guardiola's methods and views his successes in coaching as a "myth".

Ahead of the match, Guardiola was full of praise for the 35-year-old.

That's because he sensationally accused the Spaniard of racism when his contract finally expired.

"It got to the point I asked myself if it was because of my colour".

"He insists he has no problems with black players, because he is too intelligent to be caught out", Toure had said. He'll never admit it (not liking Africans).

"When we realise that he often has problems with Africans wherever he goes, I ask myself questions".

Guardiola initially refused to say anything when quizzed about the interview by Spanish reporters, but in an interview with TV3 has made his first comments on the allegations.

"We have been together during two years".

Toure, who also played under Guardiola at Barcelona before the Catalan sold him to City, pointed to the treatment his compatriot Wilfried Bony received when Guardiola arrived at City. He never told me face to face'.
