On Wednesday, the Duke of Cambridge took a short flight to the Isle of Man for the world-famous Tourist Trophy (TT race).

The Duchess of Cambridge has previously shared her disdain for the risky hobby, telling a member of the public, 'it always fills me with horror when he goes out on [his bike]!' in 2015.

William also reminisced about biking with his brother Prince Harry when they were younger, admitting they would ride scramblers and "basically try and hit each other". "I'm terrified. Hopefully, I'm going to keep George off it".

The Isle of Man TT is one of the oldest continuous motorsport events in the world.

He had earlier indulged his passion for bikes by watching the final stages of the TT Supersport Race 2 where the 600cc bikes, which can reach 180mph, roared past at incredible speeds through the finish line.

"When I said I was going to the Isle of Man for an official visit she said, 'Really?'" Prince William responded.

While speaking to Laurence Skelly, the Isle of Man's minister for enterprise, William suggested Kate was a little sceptical of the intentions behind his visit. They partnered with Let's Do, who provides the same services for people with disabilities so they can go to the races.

His Royal Highness, Prince William arrived to the Island via helicopter and touched down by the police headquarters.

The charity's Gilly Keown said: "When we heard about Prince William's visit we were thrilled that he has chosen to spend part of his time here with the foundation".
