A recent tweet from Game Freak's Junichi Masuda also featured Pikachu and Eevee plushies, alongside a Pikachu doll wearing a Luigi costume, potentially in a sly nod towards Pokemon Let's GO! .

They also report that there will definitely be a Pokemon Go influence, such as Pokemon actually being visible on the map rather than having random encounters. This company has registered domains for Nintendo in the past, and they were also behind the registration of the pokemon.com domain. That could easily just be a deflection tactic to enhance the surprise when the real project is revealed at E3, but we'll see soon enough. "How could Switch benefit from Pokémon Go's success, and how could Pokemon Go benefit from Switch's success?" a post on Roger's blog reads.

According to the rumor, Pokemon for the Nintendo Switch will be called Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee. Currently, on Android alone, the game has been downloaded for more than 100 million times.

Apparently, there will be two version of the upcoming role-playing game: Pokemon Let's Go!

Pokemon Switch is reportedly a brand new mainline Pokemon game developed by GameFreaks. Additionally, the games may feature Pokemon that follow the trainer around, akin to Pokemon Yellow Version and the Gold and Silver remakes from 2009.

Imagine being able to square off with other players' teams of Pokemon after you've caught them in the wild in Pokemon GO.

To add even more fuel to the story, Emily Rogers, a journalist notorious on the internet for her insider information, hinted at the possibility of Pokemon Go connectivity with the upcoming Nintendo Switch Pokemon titles. Until then we can only wait and see what Nintendo has in the works for us.
