Samsung has started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for its Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro smartphone in India, as per a report of TheAndroidSoul. Well, a new patent filed by the company has surfaced online which reveals an interesting information about the Galaxy X. The innovation is known as 3D Touch or Force Touch. Depending on the position of the phone, a sensor controller will be the one to identify the intensity of the pressure that the user is putting on the screen.

Including pressure-sensitive sensors throughout a large display isn't going to be an easy feat, especially when there's a part of the display that will be bendable. "We are targeting to launch foldable phones next year, although we are in the process of overcoming some hurdles for mass production", he said at a media conference last September.

LetsGoDigital has discovered smartwatch patents filed by Samsung with WIPO.

The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back, below the rear camera sensor. The patents suggest that the battery could be integrated into the watch straps. The watch strap could be made of a variety of materials such as rubber, fiber, polymer or leather. It is too early to say whether these technologies will be used in the Gear S4, but they seem exciting enough to make Samsung's smartwatches more appealing to consumers.

It is worth mentioning, the Samsung Galaxy X will not be the first or the only device to be equipped with such a display. This allows the device to know when the second screen in not in use, with the screen turning off to save the battery life. The two-display design would open the door to real multitasking opportunities.
