Of course, that work he's talking about is in relation to Sheeran's song flawless that came out earlier this week featuring Bey, but it has us asking so many questions: a new email address every week? The song came out so long ago in the scheme of music.

Yeah, it's not so simple... even for a superstar like Ed Sheeran! "And in my head, I was like, 'She's gonna say no.' And then I was like, 'Well, you might as well ask.' And she said, 'Yeah, ' so here we are". "I can't believe it, to be honest".

Sheeran said that the original version of the song was just an acoustic guitar, but after he changed it to a more orchestral sound, Queen Bey had other ideas.

"It's a really weird thing, it was just me and her and an engineer, which was very cool", he said. "When there are two people coming together like that, everyone has an opinion, you know?"

Appreciating 36-year-old singer, the "Perfect" hitmaker said her vocal skills are unmatched as she completed the song in one shot.

Sheeran revealed to Entertainment Tonight that as a security precaution, Beyonce actually changes her email address every week.

"Obviously she had twins [in June], and we finished it in September, so I've been holding onto it since then", he said of the track, which was released on Thursday, November 30.

It wasn't Ed's first professional interaction with JAY-Z's wife - the two artists previously teamed up to perform a rendition of Beyonce's Drunk in Love hit at the Global Citizen Festival in NY in 2015.
