Sanjay Leela Bhansali assures Padmavati doesn't distort history

Padmavati Why Sanjay Leela Bhansali has very limited options in the Padmavati row

"If this is not done, he will continue making such films", said Arjun Gupta, who is also a member of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). While dismissing the petition, the apex court said that the Censor Board has not yet issued certificate to Padmavati.

"I have written a letter to Home Minister that Sanjay Leela Bhansali be tried for treason & strict action be taken against him". A division bench of Justices Vikram Nath and Abdul Moin on Thursday said the petitioner has another forum, CBFC, where he could appeal for his grievance. The filmmakers should stick to the agreement they made with the aggrieved parties."Meanwhile, various erstwhile royal families of Rajasthan too raised their concerns on the distortion of history the film.Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Mahasabha (ABKM) too organized a meeting to discuss the protest strategy".

However, the film's problems do not end here.

"Historical facts must not be toyed with as it can hurt people's sentiments. We will not allow the film to be screened in Rajasthan at any cost", Singh added.Workers of Karni Sena continued distributing their request letters to cinema exhibitors asking them not to release the film.

"What has to done after that".

The film features Deepika Padukone as Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Sultan Alauddin Khilji. It will only be decided after watching the film.

Earlier this year, fringe group Rajput Karni Sena vandalised the sets of the film in Jaipur and roughed up director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The rumours claim that the film has a dream sequence between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji - something that I have already denied, even in writing.

"Padmavati" releases on 1st December 2017 worldwide.

This comes after Bhansali had released a video, saying that there was romantic scene between Rani Padmini and Alauddin Khilji in his film.
